Annual Labor Day Hose Fights

Talk about unique…who is going to argue that the Labor Day Hose Fights are anything but unique???? Many of you may think you’re too old…BUT…think again!!!!
However, in the interest of not having to make the Emergency Squad make a trip to Binghamton that morning…we have asked the Greene firemen if we could have special consideration. And…they must be hard up for participants…because they have agreed to have an “age-challenged exposition.” Whether or not this is an honor…is yet to be determined.
We have four volunteers to date; we need a minimum of five. But because five people would make only ONE team, it would be nice to have five more…because that would provide the one team with a team to “play” against! (Our other option would be to challenge another “age-challenged” group of alumni.)
We need BRAVE, FUN-LOVING, AND ADVENTUROUS volunteers in order to make this a reality. (Probably wouldn’t hurt to be a wee-bit nuts, too.) Come on, quite a few of the firemen are older than us…if they can do it, you can too! (Just think…there won’t be any flames to fight!)
The only major drawback is that the hose fights take place EARLY on Monday morning. If you volunteer…it is a certainty that you’ll know when to be there!
