Class of '67 Picnic
The Sunday picnic will be held at Kent Garringer’s home on Route 206W, the first house on the left just past Burton “Curly” Sperling’s old homestead. If you get as far as the Silo (restaurant) sign…you’ve gone too far…same for those of you who might remember making a right turn to visit Mary Lou or Susie! Kent, and his VERY understanding, and EXTREMELY tolerant wife, Jessie, begged us to have the picnic at their home…well, Kent begged…sort of… (Truth be known, it was Bobby’s idea…)

Kent will be preparing barbequed chicken (with the help of a few of the other tolerant, understanding spouses) and we are having the rest of the menu catered. Beer, soda, wine, and water will be provided. If you desire a different beverage…you’ll need to BYOB.

Kent does have a lovely pool which you are more than welcome to use. You might want to keep in mind that this occasion will be documented with photos! But, since we’re all pretty much the same age, it shouldn’t really matter. Hopefully, there will be no 16-20 year olds to remind us of days gone by...

A porta-john is being rented for the day in an attempt to help keep the inside of the Garringer home looking like it did before we arrived.

Everyone needs to put in their request to the gods for a warm, sunny weekend!!! BUT just in case…the picnic will be held, rain or shine; this occasion will only come around once!!!
